Dr Mark Choong
Dr Choong graduated from University of Melbourne in 1996 with the much coveted Baldwin Spencer prize for Medical Biology. He was short-listed for the Jamieson prize for Clinical Medicine.
Dr Choong trained at St. Vincent’s Hospital and has an extensive working history at the Austin and Repatriation Medical Centre in many disciplines ranging from psychiatry to intensive care.
As a general practitioner, he has worked in a broad range of community health services including the North Yarra drug and alcohol service, the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service and the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. He has also done elective work in Zambia and Egypt.
Dr Choong has a special interest in sexual health and men’s health and has been working in the field of HIV for over 18 years. He is a member of ASHM and works closely with the Alfred Hospital in HIV patient care. He has participated in numerous HIV research projects.
Mark is also one of the volunteer doctors who pioneered the HIV PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) Program in Victoria (PEP – medications taken within 72 hours of high risk exposure to prevent HIV transmission). He is currently a regular HIV PEP and PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) prescriber.
Working as a cosmetic physician since 2006, Dr Choong has a special interest in anti-wrinkle injections and facial sculpting with fillers. He also works with Sculptra for treatment of HIV related lipoatrophy.
Dr Choong is available Monday – Friday. He can consult in fluent Cantonese.
Dr Pamela Padiachy
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip. Aesthetic Medicine
Dr Pamela Padiachy has achieved her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner, Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine and Skin Cancer surgery.
For many years, Dr Pamela worked with Eastern and Monash health mainly in the Surgical, Emergency and Intensive Care speciality. She later joined the rural vocational training program where she dedicated herself working in rural and remote Victoria. Dr Pamela also has a special interest in sport and regenerative medicine.
Dr Amir Nekoee
MBBS, FRACGP, FAARM
Dr Amir Nekoee graduated from Melbourne University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. He joined ReCreation Medical Centre in 2013.
Dr Amir’s main areas of interest are musculoskeletal medicine and preventative medicine.
Dr Tania de Jong
MAPS, D. Psych (clinical), M. Psych (child and family), B.S.c Psych (Hons.)
Dr Tania de Jong is a registered clinical psychologist, a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, a registered practitioner with AHPRA, an author and presenter. Tania has worked in the health field since 1998.
Dr Tania is dedicated to patient-focused mental health, innovation, collaboration, and promoting wellness with her patients. She provides assessment and treatment of people with mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression and low mood, PTSD, trauma, and Bi Polar among others. She also works with people with diverse gender.
Nurse Div. 1
Ally is an Australian Catholic University graduate with her Bachelor of Nursing. Ally trained at the Mater Hospital North Sydney, where she worked as a general surgical nurse.
Ally has over a decade of nursing experience. She has a warm presence and a special interest in working alongside our regenerative medicine doctors.
