Dr Peter Lewis
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip. Sports Medicine
Dr Lewis has been an Australian registered medical practitioner since 1983, after graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He also completed a postgraduate diploma in sports medicine at ASMF in 1988.
In 1985, Dr Lewis established ReCreation Medical Centre, which he owns and manages today. Shortly after Dr Lewis went on to become a ringside physician for Australian and international kickboxing competitions, becoming recognised as one of the world’s most experienced ringside physicians. He is currently chairman of the Australian Ringside Medicine Association, having held this position since 2012.
After his extensive success as a ringside physician, Dr Lewis focused his work on regenerative medicine. He established his Malvern practice in 2010, limiting the practice to regenerative medicine.

Dr Mark Choong
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Choong graduated from University of Melbourne in 1996 with the much coveted Baldwin Spencer prize for Medical Biology. He was short-listed for the Jamieson prize for Clinical Medicine.
Dr Choong trained at St. Vincent’s Hospital and has an extensive working history at the Austin and Repatriation Medical Centre in many disciplines ranging from psychiatry to intensive care.
As a general practitioner, he has worked in a broad range of community health services including the North Yarra drug and alcohol service, the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service and the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. He has also done elective work in Zambia and Egypt.
Dr Choong has a special interest in sexual health and men’s health and has been working in the field of HIV for over 18 years. He is a member of ASHM and works closely with the Alfred Hospital in HIV patient care. He has participated in numerous HIV research projects.
Mark is also one of the volunteer doctors who pioneered the HIV PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) Program in Victoria (PEP – medications taken within 72 hours of high risk exposure to prevent HIV transmission). He is currently a regular HIV PEP and PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) prescriber.
Working as a cosmetic physician since 2006, Dr Choong has a special interest in anti-wrinkle injections and facial sculpting with fillers. He also works with Sculptra for treatment of HIV related lipoatrophy.

Dr Charlotte Ho
Clinical and Forensic Psychologist
Dr Charlotte has over 15 years’ experience working in both private health and public systems. She holds a Bachelor degree in Social Science (Family Studies), a Doctoral degree in Forensic Psychology, and a master degree in Clinical Psychology. Charlotte is a member of Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), an APS Forensic College fellow, and is a Psychology Broad of Australia (PBA) approved supervisor.
Her areas of work include treatment planning, intervention, clinical (cognitive functioning, behavioural, mental health) and specialist forensic (psychosexual risk, violence, parenting, protective capacity, family-related) assessment, report writing, and testimony. Dr Charlotte has prepared reports for Australian Courts regarding family and children’s matters.
Dr Charlotte is fluent in Cantonese.

Rachel Joustra
Clinical and Organisational Psychologist
Rachel has over 10 years of experience working in health, public sector and emergency services. She holds Masters degrees in both Clinical and Organisational Psychology, is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a board approved supervisor.
Rachel has experience working with children, adolescents and adults to assist them lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Additionally, Rachel has had considerable experience with coaching and helping people create positive lifestyle changes and develop strategies to meet their career and life goals. Rachel strongly believes that counselling is a collaborative approach and draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help people achieve their goals.

Elisa Morel
Registered Psychologist
Elisa has 12 years of experience working in the public and private sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Psychology and Family Studies) and is a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor.
Elisa has experience working with a wide variety of presenting issues and mental health concerns. Strength and resilience focused, Elisa provides therapy tailored to each individual, collaborating with them to reach their goals.
Elisa has well established counselling, assessment and treatment planning skills. She is a holistic practitioner with interests in the benefits of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in combination with yoga practice, nutritional medicine and art therapy.

Hannah Wilson
Registered Nurse
Hannah has been working with Recreation since 2015. Starting out on the front desk as a receptionist, she found her passion in nursing and worked her way up to being a Practice Nurse. She completed a Diploma of Nursing in 2019 and obtained her Bachelor of Nursing in 2021.
Hannah has completed multiple placements including general medicine, mental health, paediatrics and community nursing. Friendly and approachable, she works alongside our doctors and assists with immunisations and health assessments.

Dr Rob Weiss
MBBS, MA, GDMM, MClEpid, MPainMed, PCertMedEd, AFRACMA, FFPMANZCA
Dr Rob Weiss is a University of Melbourne graduate who has worked in General Practice since 1984.
Over his career, he has developed experience in all aspects of general practice.
His special interests include mental health, substance use disorders and musculoskeletal medicine including soft tissue and joint injectables.
