dr Peter Lewis - MBBS, FAARM, FABRM
Founder of ReCreation Medical Centre
Dr Peter Lewis has been an Australian registered medical practitioner since 1983, being a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery graduate from Monash University. In 1988 he completed his post-graduate diploma in Sports Medicine. He is considered an expert in the field of sports medicine, including platelet rich-plasma (PRP), a regenerative medicine treatment. Dr Lewis has extensive experience working, lecturing and teaching on the topics of PRP and Stem Cell therapies in both Australia & Overseas. He was one of the first clinicians in Australia to offer PRP treatment and is now one of the most experienced.
dr amir nekoee - mbbs, FRACGP, FAARM
Dr Amir Nekoee graduated from Melbourne University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. He joined ReCreation Medical Centre in 2013. Dr Amir's main areas of interest are musculoskeletal medicine and preventative medicine.
Dr Richard Yang - mbbs, fracgp, dip derm (cardiff)
Dr Richard Yang graduated with MBBS in 1988 from one of the major teaching hospitals in Shanghai and underwent 3 years of surgical training. He became a Vocational Registered GP in 2004. Dr Yang is well respected in the skin field diagnosing and treating skin conditions, he is also very experienced with using dermoscope to detect or exclude skin cancer after practicing skin cancer medicine for more than 10 years.
Dr Mark choong - fracgp
Dr Mark Choong is a Univeristy of Melbourne graduate with an FRACGP, an HIV GP specialist and experienced cosmetic physician. Dr Choong graduated with the much coveted Baldwin Spencer prize for medical biology and was short-listed for the Jamieson prize for clinical medicine. Dr Choong has a special interest in sexual health and men's health and has been working in the field of HIV for over a decade.
dr kateena vogel
Dr Vogel is one of the newest additions to the Surecell family. Dr Vogel is an Australian graduate and has completed her fellowship. She has a particular interest in women's health and PRP.
dr david sacks
Dr David Sacks graduated from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 2001. Working first in London then in South Africa, he and his family now resides here in Australia. Dr Sacks has had 13 years of experience in sports and regenerative medicine, and has become experienced with using PRP and Stem Cell therapies for a wide range of conditions.
Dr Asheer Singh
Dr Asheer Singh completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery as well as his Postgraduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Otago. Since then, he has worked as a doctor, in sport and exercise medicine at the Otago Rugby Football Union, and currently fulfils the same role with the Melbourne Rebels. Dr Singh has a particular interest in sports medicine and PRP treatment.
Dr Tania van megchelen
Dr Tania van Megchelen (B.Sc(Psych.) Hons., M.Psych (child and family), D.Psych (clinical), MAPS, is a registered clinical psychologist. Dr Tania is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, an author and presenter. She is enthusiastic about health, innovation and collaboration. Dr Tania has worked in the community and health field since 1998 including establishing health services with community organisations and local Government.
Steve Moar has been with ReCreation Medical Centre since 1994. Steve has a degree in physical education and is a registered acupuncturist. Steve treats a wide range of conditions including neck and back pain, postural problems and arthritic pain. Steve is available by appointment only
